Friend,
Every hour dogs are forced into sacks with their mouths taped or wired shut. Packed so tightly they cannot move. Days on the road, no food, no water and no air. Many succumb before they ever reach a slaughterhouse.
Ten million dogs are killed every year in Southeast Asia alone. Many are stolen family pets, still wearing collars when they are found. They are transported across borders in illegal shipments, treated as stock instead of living beings.
Broken bones. Heatstroke. Dehydration. And for those who survive the journey, the suffering continues.
Fines replace prison sentences. Cases collapse. Smugglers return to the roads because they know consequences are rare and enforcement gaps protect them. Without stronger penalties and consistent prosecutions, this cruelty remains profitable.
