Friend,
This is difficult to read but it’s important you know the truth.
Dogfighting is not a “sport.” It is organised, deliberate cruelty.
Dogs are bred and trained to fight from a young age. They are isolated, chained, starved, beaten, and given drugs to increase aggression and endurance, not to help them, but to make them more profitable.
If a dog is injured, exhausted, or “fails” in the pit, they are often killed. Some are electrocuted. Others are beaten or left to die.
In a recent case, an eight-week-old puppy was dismembered.
That puppy never had a chance to be loved, to feel safe, or to live.
This is what dogfighting does.
Dogfighting continues across the world, in the United States, Europe, and the Philippines, because abusers operate in secret and aren’t stopped in time.
Dogs don’t choose this life. Friend, they rely on people like you to intervene.
