Friend,
Two days ago, my team and I rescued an older dog named Titan — and I can honestly say, after 20 years of seeing cruelty, this case broke me.
Titan was chained by the neck to his kennel. He lay motionless on the cold barren metal when a passer-by spotted him — she thought he was ALREADY DEAD. Then, she saw him move. Barely.
When we arrived, his food and water bowl were upside down in front of him, as if to mock his starvation. His ears were filled with pus and dirt, his body just skin and bone.
At the vet clinic, even the professionals were stunned. One of them whispered to me, “He was just days from dying.” It was heartbreaking to hear that, Friend.
Titan didn’t resist when we carried him away or treated his wounds. He was simply too weak to fight, too tired to cry. This kind of suffering is something most people never see, but for too many animals across the Philippines, it’s heartbreakingly common.
We’re making sure Titan’s abuser is held accountable. But we need to show that the world is watching, that animal cruelty like this will not be ignored.
Will you sign now to demand justice for Titan, Friend?
But despite everything, there’s something about Titan that stays with me... his quiet gentleness. Even after all the pain he endured, he still looks at people with soft eyes, as if he’s hoping someone will finally show him kindness.
That’s why I can’t stop thinking about him, Friend. No animal should ever have to endure what he did.
Titan deserves more than pity — he deserves justice. And by standing with us today, by adding your name, you’re helping make sure that the person who did this is held accountable.
You’re also helping show that compassion still wins over cruelty, that people like you won’t look away.
Thank you for standing with me and with Titan, Friend.
For all animals,
