Friend,
This is a message I never thought I’d have to write. With only hours left in our Wildlife Crime Emergency Appeal, we’re still short of our target—and if we can’t close this gap, I’ll have no choice but to scale back the investigations we’ve planned for this hunting season.
I understand that this image is difficult to see, Friend. Unfortunately, this is the reality that innocent wildlife faces every day. With your support, my team and I can put an end to this cruelty by putting these perpetrators behind bars, where they belong.
More than 10,000 badgers are tortured and killed each year for so-called “entertainment” by hunters and their trained dogs. Badger baiting is a horrific practice: trained dogs are sent down into badger setts (dens) to trap these gentle animals, while hunters dig them out. Once exposed, the badger is dragged out and torn apart by a pack of savagely trained dogs.
Thanks to incredible supporters like you, we’re 61% of the way to our goal.
My team is working tirelessly to gather the evidence needed to hold these criminals accountable, but without the remaining £1,170 to reach our £3,000 target, we may be forced to scale back our plans this season, leaving more animals vulnerable to brutal attacks.
Will you help my team and I close the gap today and make sure we can fully fund these critical investigations, Friend?
Every donation, whether it’s £10, £20, or whatever you can afford, will go directly towards exposing and stopping these heinous crimes. Your support today will allow us to protect vulnerable animals, bring wildlife criminals to justice, and make sure they face real consequences.
Thank you for standing up for animals who cannot defend themselves.
For all wildlife,
Jacob Lloyd

P.S. If you’ve already donated, thank you so much. Please consider one last gift or share this appeal with others. Together, we can make sure no investigation has to be scaled back this season—and that those responsible for these horrific acts are put behind bars.
