POLL: Should fox hunters and other wildlife criminals face up to 5 years in prison, Friend? Click here to answer the quick question!

Friend,

When was the last time you heard of someone going to prison for harming wildlife? Unfortunately, for many wildlife criminals, the answer is likely never.

Is that fair, Friend?

In 2023 alone, nearly 5,000 incidents of wildlife crime were reportedacross the country. Yet despite this shocking figure, the vast majority of these cases ended without serious punishment. In fact, fewer than 500 of these cases led to prosecution, and the penalties were often mere fines.

We believe those who harm our wildlife should face serious consequences – but we want to hear from you.

This question matters, Friend. Wildlife crime has surged since 2020, and we’re seeing one of the lowest conviction rates in England and Wales compared to other types of crime.

Wildlife criminals often walk free, even as they continue to harm our precious wildlife.

Make your voice heard today, Friend. Let’s work together to protect wildlife from harm and ensure justice is served.
