Last week, the Prime Minister announced an upcoming UK General Election on 4th July.

This news brings with it a halt to all pending legislation not finalised during the parliamentary 'wash up.' Unfortunately, this means vital work done by animal welfare advocates like you will now face setbacks as pending legislation cannot progress and subsequently fall.

The Bill to tackle puppy smuggling, an issue we have tirelessly campaigned against for the last two years, is now off the table.
