As we approach World Day for Animals in Laboratories, please continue to SIGN and SHARE this petition widely: it supports 83 members of the UK Parliament (MPs) who are calling for properly moderated, public scientific hearings about the false claims that animal experiments can 'predict' responses of human patients - medical debate hearings that will have judges, with debate conditions endorsed as "well set out and fair" by Britain's foremost human rights defence barrister Michael Mansfield QC. Around 80% of the UK's annual total of 4 million lab animals are used for such experiments. We have had a whirlwind close to Parliament, with many new MPs signing Parliamentary EDM 22 calling for these medical debates, including Tom Watson MP, key campaigner in the exposure of corruption at News International and co-author of 'Dial M for Murdoch'.
