Dear Supporters of Stop the Rave in the Nave of Canterbury Cathedral,

Thank you for your tremendous support in signing, sharing and promoting our petition to stop the disco in Canterbury Cathedral.

As I said in a previous update, despite our petition being presented to the Archbishop and the Dean, the disco is going ahead on Thursday and Friday this week, so we are going ahead with our Prayer Vigil outside the Cathedral from 6pm to 8pm this Thursday, 8th February.

We have had a great response so far, with a heartening number of people signing up, and it promises to be a very special evening of faithful witness with hymns, prayer and scripture readings outside Christ Church Gate on Burgate, as the ravers process in.

Many young people are travelling as much as hundreds of miles to be a witness of Christian joy and reverence, glorifying God and protesting desecration of His holy places. If you feel called to join us, you would be more than welcome.

Please email canterburyvigil@gmail.com to confirm your attendance.

We will go for some food and drinks afterwards in a nearby pub, so it would be a great pleasure to meet you there and get to know you better. Dress warm!

God bless you.
