Improper Termination Case Approved for Arbitration

Angela Jensen -the employee who Marianne terminated without just cause- received notification from her union, CWA 9509, that her case has been approved for Arbitration.  As you may know, the decision to arbitrate a case against a union-busting boss like Marianne can be costly.  The decision to arbitrate is reserved for cases in which there is a strong potential for success.

In the meantime, remember how Marianne denied being a union-buster?  Well, one of the two new "Associate Directors" (aka Business Agents) that Marianne recently hired, Ezekiel Diaz, filed a decertification petition to decertify their union.  Then, on April 18th, the Business Agents decertified CWA 9509 in a 2-1 vote.  So now, Marianne and her lemmings have officially busted that union.  Despite the election loss, CWA is continuing to stand with Angela and fight for justice!
