This petition seeks to find a remedy to the current Philippine volleyball crisis. It is over a year now that LVPI, through the sinister efforts of POC President Peping Cojuangco, FIVB and AVC official Tats Suzara, POC Vice-President Joey Romasanta and Sports Vision President Ricky Palou, has placed itself as the NSA for Philippine volleyball. But LVPI has done nothing, for over a year, but obtain hosting rights to several AVC and FIVB events. In the process, the creation and training of national teams for international tournaments have been neglected by the very institution tasked to perform such duties. At best, LVPI has assembled teams at the airport to compete the following day. Hence, this petition seeks to protect the true interest of Philippine volleyball with the demand for the resignation of Jose Cojuangco Jr. as POC president and the abolition of LVPI as the NSA for Philippine volleyball. It is time to undo the damage that POC, PSC and LVPI have done to Philippine volleyball. It is time effect change in sports governance, most especially in volleyball. Panahon na para itama ang mali.
