"We the People" have a right to petition that is protected under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, "Congress shall make no law...abridging...the right of the people...to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Petition is the right to ask the government at any level to right a wrong or bring issues to the government's attention such as exposing misconduct, waste, corruption and incompetence, which is precisely the purpose of this petition that I have initiated on Change.org. This petition is addressed to Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, the New York State House and the New York Senate.
