Hello Team Bridges & Tunnels! Thank you for signing this petition. My petition to get the Tappan Zee name back is doing realllllly well, with now 98,000 signatures! And... legislators have said they will start writing a bill to change the name BACK TO THE TAPPAN ZEE! This is a great step in the right direction. And now, thank you for also signing this petition. But I have two more I'd like you to consider signing: 1. To return the Triboro Bridge name 2. To encourage US congress & also state legislatures to pass a new bill that will ensure no public infrastructure is named after anyone who has not already been dead for 50 years, AND that the naming only happens through direct vote by the people.
