We are almost 1,200 signatures. This is great, but not enough. Although I attended two Hurricane Sandy meetings and I spoke at the Sandy Task Force meeting on May 2nd, there has been no reinstatement of the Interim Mortgage Assistance, or a change of deadlines for people who are still displaced due to Hurricane Sandy. It is simply despicable that this is happening in New York State. We need to vote out these elected officials who were supposed to look out for us and protect us. The Government Office of Storm Recovery and New York Rising is a huge failure. Although it has helped some individuals, there are countless others like myself still displaced and struggling. This should outrage all of us, whether displaced or not. How can this be possible in a state where we pay some of the highest taxes in the country? Please stand with me and help with this fight to put pressure on New York State to assist the remaining victims of this disaster. What the state has done to us, is more devastating than the storm itself. Thank you in advance, Phyllis Boland
