New regulations will be voted on in January

Today, I received a phone call from Assemblyman Zebrowski telling me that a new bill has been preemptively proposed and so far has full support of both the assembly and senate. It will go through all of the usual processes that a bill goes through, but should be able to go through quickly and smoothly in January as a result. The proposed new bill will exclude the "single use ink" section and instead designate any rules regarding ink use, dispensing, or storage to local health department regulations. The section 2 will be limited to single use "needles" instead of all single use "materials" which was initially confusing and vague. Now, we wait until January for new information on any official changes, comment periods, and voting. I will keep everyone updated regarding any upcoming important dates! Thank you Assemblyman Zebrowski, Senator Carlucci, and Senator Boyle for taking the time to work with us to promptly correct this issue, as well as everyone who has taken the time to contact their local officials and make the issue known to them.
