Surfrider Foundation + Mayor Report + Media Request

Last night the Surfrider Foundation Maui Chapter had an executive committee meting and voted to join in finding a solution to this issue.

This is good news for everyone. Surfrider has a record of helping secure shoreline access, and supporting clean water and beach initiatives. 

STILL we need to keep pressure on our elected officials if something is to change. 

The Mayor's office has recently reported that this is a "union issue" and that they're working on it. But we're not there yet.
