I actually can't believe this. I still feel shaky with so many emotions - my campaign for Carly's Law to keep our children protected from sick online predators has just won! It was announced over a press conference with the Minister for Justice Michael Keenan, and confirmed straight after that the government will introduce Carly's Law, when I met Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in person!! I’m still running on adrenaline. It’s been 10 years since my darling daughter Carly was murdered by an online predator, I’ve been fighting to close this dangerous loophole leaving kids vulnerable to predators ever since. Standing there at Parliament House as a Federal Minister announced the introduction of Carly’s Law felt so unreal. Thanks to you and my incredible supportive community, Carly’s death will no longer be in vain, together we’re stopping any other family going through the horrendous pain that mine has.
