• Sprechen Sie sich bitte in ihrer Eigenschaft als Staatsoberhaupt gegen die Hundetötungen in Ihrem Land aus. Machen Sie Ihren persönlichen und politischen Einfluss geltend zugunsten einer neuen Gesetzgebung, die den Hunden den entsprechenden Schutz zu kommen lässt
• Bitte wirken Sie entschieden darauf hin, dass die Gelder, die derzeit in den gewaltsamen Umgang und das Töten dieser Tiere fließen, künftig in Projekte investiert werden, die tatsächlich geeignet sind, um die Streunerpopulationen mittel- und langfristig einzudämmen. Tatsächlich gibt es in Sri Lanka mehrere geeignete private Organisationen, die sich um die Tiere kümmern und durch Kastration/Sterilisationsmaßnahmen die Population der Streuner stetig kleiner werden lassen. Bitte setzen Sie sich auch dafür ein, dass diese Organisationen staatlich unterstützt werden.

• Speak out , please , in their capacity as head of state against the dog killings in your country . Make your personal and political influence to bear in favor of a new law that allows the dogs to get the appropriate protection
• Please act decidedly out that the funds that currently flow into the violent handling and killing of these animals , will in future be invested in projects that are actually suited to the medium , the stray populations and mitigate the long term . Indeed, there are in Sri Lanka more suitable private organizations that take care of the animals and can be steadily smaller the population of stray animals by castration / sterilization measures . Please contact also ensure that these organizations are supported by the state .
