Hi Cash Lovers,
Q: What's the big problem with the Albanese government's proposed cash mandate?
A: It doesn't mandate cash and it greenlights the cashless society.
Big businesses, like K-Mart, Bunnings, Maccas and Chemist Warehouse can go cashless.
Any small business can also refuse to accept cash.
Government agencies, councils, landlords, utilities and billers can go cashless.
Other countries are not speeding towards a cashless future.
Many governments are respecting their citizens rights and safeguarding their economies against the dangers of a cashless society.
Sweden, Norway and China have recently confirmed the right of citizens to use cash. Slovenia has gone further and enshrined the right to use cash in their constitution.
Australia clearly needs a safeguard against our own government taking away our rights to access and use cash, our legal tender.
We need a referendum so we can vote YES to enshrining our right to access and use our legal tender to buy and sell goods and services.
Please share our petition and support our campaign to keep going!
I'm talking with politicians about how to make sure cash remains available and accepted in Australia.
Thank you and yours sincerely,
Jason Bryce
