Hi Cash Lovers,
This Christmas let's keep cash alive. Cash is a traditional gift for cultures around the world.
A $20 or $50 note in a Christmas card for a grandchild or close relative is how we celebrate festive occasions.
Let's NOT give our children a privacy-free CASHLESS SOCIETY. Over the next 12 months, Australia will decide whether to protect the role of cash.
I've been making submissions and attending meetings about cash with politicians and regulators all year.
Treasurer Jim Chalmers recently announced new plans to require all businesses in Australia selling food, fuel, medicine and health care supplies to accept cash for payment.
"There is an ongoing place for cash in our society ...," said Jim Chalmers.
The government has also told banks to keep regional bank branches open or they will pay a levy.
The government is hearing us and it's because so many people have signed this petition (and others like it).
PLEASE SHARE AND PROMOTE OUR PETITION.
Cash Welcome is just me - Jason Bryce - sending emails, contacting TV, radio and print journalists, running the social media pages and the petition.
Please support me to keep demanding action to protect our right to choose how we pay, backed by donations from consumers and business and companies in the cash industry.
Please share our petition with your social networks:

We need to keep this campaign going to maintain the pressure on banks and government.
