Hi Cash Lovers,
ANZ Bank today announced a $7 billion profit, but more branches are closing and going cashless.
Enough is enough. Their motivation is profit. They are not responding to consumer demand. They want our fees and data and they are herding us, against our will, toward a future where we have less control over our own information and money.
But the people are being heard. Our petition and campaign is attracting plenty of media attention. I believe if we can keep up the pressure, we will win this war on cash and our children and grandchildren will be saved from an intrusive, unreliable, expensive cashless society.

We will win this war on cash, if we can keep going, pushing governments to protect our rights. Other countries are protecting cash and Australia must follow.
The UK government has recently moved to protect cash.
Europe requires retailers to accept cash.
Sweden has recently required banks to open ATMs in all towns.
The US congress is considering a bill to require retailers to accept cash. New York and San Francisco already mandate cash acceptance.
