Bringing an extension of the Amtrak line “California Zephyr,” will boost Wyoming economy, make travel easier for Wyoming residents and visitors to make it to UW Cowboy games in the winter, easier for Wyoming residents of the i-80 corridor to get to Denver and Salt Lake City, create jobs in the destinations along the i-80 route, bring railroad life back to tourists and residents, and could also potentially reduce accidents that happen in the winter as this line could be traveled by those that are less experienced in winter driving yet still want to explore our amazing southern part of Wyoming during the winter.

This could also make it easier for residents to do shopping in each other’s towns, and bring family from far away, without the airplane travel. Wyoming residents could also more easily access routes to travel the country. I would like to see an extension that could be started in Salt Lake City, travel the full I-80 corridor and end in Denver or vise versa.

I really see this as something that will bring more money to our state and that could boost our small businesses owned along the route. Sign today if you would like for this to be presented to those that can make this happen for our state!
