Our family, like many others in Pace Mill Creek, is being unjustly targeted by the current Homeowners Association (HOA) restrictions. We are facing legal action because we park a commercial vehicle outside our home for less than eight days a month (sometimes less).This vehicle is not just any vehicle; it provides beef supply to our nation and sustains our family of seven.

The argument that this commercial vehicle is eroding our roads seems absurd when you consider that it weighs less than the garbage trucks that frequent our neighborhood. Moreover, it does not obstruct any right of way or block entry/exit points in our neighborhood circle. Furthermore, it is not permanently parked and is in excellent aesthetic condition.

These HOA restrictions seem arbitrary and overly punitive towards families like ours who depend on their commercial vehicles for livelihood. It's time to review these rules and make them more equitable.
