The importance of transparency online and how this effects our mental health is really starting to get some high profile attention.

• Dr Luke Evans MP introduced his Body Image Bill in Parliament on the 12th January 2022, which is calling for any images used for commercial purposes are labelled if it features digitally altered bodies. As a previous GP he has seen first hand how these edited images are having a real effect on people's body confidence issues.
• Girlguiding recently shared their Girls Attitude Survey that surveyed girls age 11-21. This research is another example of how editing content is affecting the mental well being or our young people.
• Celebrities have also been discussing the pressure they feel under to edit their images and the constant comparison online and in the media. One example of this was Snoochie on last year's series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. This highlights how this issue really effects everyone.
