The issue

Global eCommerce platform Amazon sells child sex abuse dolls – lifelike, anatomically correct, replica little girls for men’s sexual use.

Some dolls are photographed wearing children’s clothing, with pigtails, holding teddy bears and stuffed animals. Others are overtly marketed as “flat chested”.

Product descriptions emphasise their realistic textures – that their use feels “similar to real intercourse” – and provide specifications on the depth of their vaginal, oral and anal orifices.

We’ve even found sex abuse dolls on Amazon modelled on toddlers.

These products aren’t a harmless fantasy – they fuel men’s abuse of actual children. In research for my book Sex Dolls, Robots and Woman Hating: The Case for Resistance, I documented countless reported cases where men found in possession of child sex abuse dolls sexually offended against actual children. They used the dolls to practice.

Just this year, a child sex abuse doll owner in my city was jailed after police uncovered his elaborate plan to kidnap a child and keep them in his sound-proofed attic. He was caught after Border Force intercepted a second child sex abuse doll he had ordered.

We asked Amazon if they had supplied the doll. They didn’t respond. But by facilitating the sale of child sex abuse dolls to predators, Amazon is complicit.

Amazon claims to have “strict policies” against child sex abuse dolls, yet the corporation continues to advertise and sell them. We’ve found over 100 just this year alone.

While some listings have come down – whether actioned by Amazon or after being sold out – new listings are regularly added. Some dolls are advertised across multiple URLs.

When we attempted to bring the issue to CEO Andy Jassy’s attention via X, he blocked us.

But we’re not giving up. We’re calling on Amazon to:

  • Remove all child sex abuse doll listings from the site
  • Permanently ban all sellers of child sex abuse dolls
  • Implement effective mechanisms to prevent child sex abuse doll listings from being uploaded in the future
  • Implement effective mechanisms to prevent searches for child sex abuse dolls - including no longer directing prospective buyers to additional child doll listings
  • Cooperate with law enforcement

We're calling on Jeff Bezos, Founder and Executive Chairman and Andy Jassy, CEO to ban child sex abuse dolls from the platform.
