Hi Plastic-Free Family:

For some lighter reading this week, I wanted to share a story Entertainment Weekly just posted on our petition and how it was inspired by my experience as a contestant on Survivor many years back.

It's not an experience I talk about much but the connection to the plastic waste is relevant as this was an issue I saw back in 2003 on beaches that were supposedly uninhabited. I hate to think of what the Pearl Islands must look like now with all of the waste generated since then.
