Dear Plastic-Free Family
During my exploration of available plastic-free solutions, a colleague turned me on to the amazing progress one sustainable apparel company is making with its reusable packaging solution.
Toad&Co focuses on all things sustainable, including the delivery of their products to their customers. They have developed a system that allows you to choose "Reusable Shipper" at checkout and your order will then arrive in a completely reusable package.
To help us celebrate 600,000 signatures, Toad&Co has generously offered a special code to shop their 100% sustainable collection of Men's and Women's Lifestyle apparel just for petition signers.
Petition Signers Get an Extra 10% Off for Up to 50% Off
Code: NoMorePlastic
Expires: September 1, 2020

What's more, they got behind our petition and shared it out with their own eco-minded list which led to even more signatures this past week.
More on the Shipper
The brand partnered with LimeLoop to offer this sustainable shipping method in the US. Each Limeloop reusable shipper can be reshipped over 200 times. What's also incredible is the fact that LimeLoop itself upcycles used billboards for the materials it makes its reusable packs out of. No excess waste is produced in the process.

Polybags Suck
In speaking with Toad&Co, they did raise the ever-looming polybag issue which is one that comes up a lot, especially for retailers. They are making every effort to solve for the polybag issue and have made significant progress by utilizing recycled plastic and redesigning the bags themselves to be smaller and easier to repurpose.
To learn more about the polybag challenge and the innovation they have applied to reducing polybag impact, read their article, Polybags Suck, here.
This is an inspiring example of talented, solutions-oriented people working hard to solve one of the core waste problems ecommerce has been plagued with for years.
If Toad&Co can make so much progress, surely the largest ecommerce company in the world can figure it out as well.
Amazing work Toad&Co!
