Hello Plastic-Free Family-

I've been impressed lately by some of the tremendous thought going into the packaging I receive from certain local sellers and some suppliers I work with who sell on Etsy and similar platforms. 

Not only is the packaging eco-friendly but the notion that some degree of care  and thought went into it really improves the overall customer experience. 

Locally, I have a small maker kit business I started during Covid since my kids were home. We deliberately chose to use locally made custom cedar boxes and fully biodegradable natural materials to pack like upcycled sari silk, mulberry papers and honeycomb paper wrap.
Pottery and glass jars are in many of the boxes and nothing has broken yet!

I'd love to see some other GOOD examples of packaging you've received or created so we can share out the sourcing of materials and identify the brands who are making it work without plastic.
