Americans have slowly been losing their freedom as each day passes. As part of the 1st Amendment we as Americans have the right to petition.

Parents have both the right and authority to make the appropriate medical decisions for their own children. There is no language or requirement within the mask order put down by the Acting Secretary of Health in Pennsylvania that requires a physician's signature to unmask their child.

We are petitioning the school board to remove the physician's signature requirement and allow the parents to make the best decision for their own child.

The Altoona Area School Board's decision to require a physician's signature is not only ethically and morally wrong, but also illegal.
