We are proud to share that our collective efforts have been featured in two major news outlets LAist and KTLA. This coverage signals that the petition and movement are resonating far beyond Altadena, and that the call for narrative justice is being heard.

What does this mean? It means the story of Altadena is not invisible. It means that our demand for dignity, representation, and accountability is gaining traction. And it means we are at a critical moment  where the entertainment industry is watching how we respond and how we shape the narrative of our own community.

As a community, we are not opposed to filming or storytelling in Altadena. What we ask and what we are now organizing to create  are clear guidelines for how production companies and creative projects engage with Altadena. This includes centering real voices, honoring the impact of the Eaton Fire, and ensuring any project contributes to rather than exploits our community.

The next step is collaboration. We are currently working with local organizations in Altadena to design a framework that makes this possible. In the meantime, we invite you to stay connected, share updates, and continue standing for narrative justice.
