Alpha Xi Delta's philanthropy, Autism Speaks, is viewed as a hate group to the Autistic community due to its ableist history including ads, films, and cure rhetoric. Not to mention their misused finances, their MSSNG project, and their ableist puzzle piece logo.  

Though they removed cure from their mission statement, it does not erase their recent history, nor their biomedical reseach when most searches for genetic causes lead to prenatal testing.
