She was an avid viewer of Fox News” -- Ashli Babbitt, a veteran who was killed as she participated in the attack on the U.S. Capitol this week, had fallen down a conspiracy theory rabbit hole. Her journey was actively abetted by Fox News personalities like Tucker Carlson, who she praised.

This week's events propelled by Fox News content, on top of the network's coronavirus lies over the past year, have made it clear just how dangerous an element Fox News is in our society.

Many people are now renewing their efforts to counter Fox News, and I'm writing today to ask you to join us. Our efforts together can create more momentum.

Here are some things you can do:

1. Contact Fox's top advertisers -- here is a detailed contact list, including phone numbers, social media, and names and contact info for CEOs and diversity heads.

2. Tweet at Fox's top advertisers: here are their handles

@Casper
@KraftHeinzCo
@CharlesSchwab
@GSK @GSKUS
@ProcterGamble
@Cadillac @GM

3. Continue to call out Fox News advertisers on social media, on a regular basis. Fox News is telling its advertisers that its sponsors are  “only temporarily impacted by advertiser boycotts” -- we need to prove them wrong. Put a reminder on your calendar to tweet or post or contact regularly.

5. Please follow me on Twitter at @NRABoycott.  I will share the latest news on this topic, and tweets that you may want to amplify.

6. Call your cable company and tell them that you don't want to pay for Fox. Details on how to do that here: https://unfoxmycablebox.com/

7. Share this petition with more people.

8. Consider using parental lock to block parents or grandparents from watching Fox News. Details here.

9. Watch the Brainwashing Dad documentary.

If you have other suggestions, please share the comments.

Thank you for your support.
