As winter approaches, the cold weather becomes a significant concern for students across our district. The need to stay warm is essential for concentration and overall well-being during school hours. Hoodies offer a versatile and comfortable solution to this issue, yet they are currently not allowed to be worn inside the school buildings.

Hoodies are an effective layer of clothing that can help maintain body heat during the colder months, allowing students to focus better on their studies rather than on the discomfort of the cold. Restricting the wearing of hoodies during these months can have a negative impact on student learning and well-being.

For instance, we propose that students be allowed to wear hoodies with the condition that hoods stay down while inside school premises.
