Allow unvaccinated children in daycare centers and subsidize options

The issue

Our children shouldn't have to miss out because of government policies that mandate vaccinations. It feels like coercion, not freedom! In the land of the free, we should have the right to choose whether to vaccinate our children without fear of discrimination. If vaccines truly work, then vaccinated children are protected, and there should be no concern about unvaccinated children sharing spaces with them, just like at shopping centers or swimming pools.

Currently, families who choose not to vaccinate their children face barriers in accessing daycare centers and child care subsidies, which impacts not only our children but also the well-being of families. Many parents rely on these services to maintain their employment. Denying access to child care creates undue financial stress and limits educational opportunities for young children.

We call upon policymakers and child care centers to reconsider these guardianship restrictions. Understand the implications on families who opt out of vaccinations for personal and medical reasons. Daycare centers already implement hygiene protocols and health checks to mitigate risks—apply these equitably to all children.

Governmental bodies should also reinstate access to child care subsidies for families regardless of vaccination status. Let's ensure every child has equal opportunity to learn, grow, and interact with their peers without discrimination.

We urge you to sign this petition and help us create inclusive policies that respect parental choices while promoting equal access to essential child care services.
