Hello and good morning all my feline followers, 

Just a quick update to let everyone know that we have picked the date of our initial appearance before Sioux Falls city council.  For this first meeting we will be using the public forum to introduce ourselves and what we are looking to accomplish.  We are fortunate enough to have James Oppenheimer the new director of the Sioux Falls Humane Society attending the meeting in support of TNR as well which is very exciting! 

So on August 8 at 6pm we need everyone to be thinking their most positive thoughts and sending good TNR ju ju to us.  If/when things go well, then our proposed ordinance will get put on the agenda for discussion in a 2nd meeting, finally on the 3rd meeting council will vote on said ordinance to allow and protect TNR in Sioux Falls. After this first meeting I think we will a good handle on where we stand so I will most definitely update everyone with what happens.
