Fans of the Nashville Predators have seen a lot since that first season in 1998, from nearly losing the team to Hamilton, to the lockout season, to the Stanley Cup Finals run, to a couple of goalie goals. This petition is to allow fan ownership of 20% of the team that means so much to us. The purpose is multifaceted:

• Ensure the team stays in Nashville for good by tying its ownership to the fans, most of whom are either current or former residents of the city.
• Ensure decision-making for the team remains first and foremost about hockey. Nashville as a whole has seen a shift from being about a unique culture and history to revolving around the veneer of tourist traps and celebrity bars. The fan experience at Preds games should be about just that: the game.
• Encourage future support and investment by fans into the franchise.
