Our original plan was to collect 1,000 signatures over a couple months. Yet we just surpassed 500 signatures in less than 2 weeks! I am astounded and grateful to everyone who signed and shared this petition.

We're getting noticed and making the news!

Dallas Morning News took notice and ran a story about our campaign, wherein they interviewed two students. One of the students, Jack Chrismon, spoke at the DART Board Meeting in July with Sunrise Dallas. He gave testimony as a high school student who relies on DART light rail to attend a magnet school on the opposite side of the city from where he lives. His story was gripping and inspiring!

We're not done yet! There is more to be done.

Our original goal of 1,000 signatures is within sight! Please continue sharing, posting, sending, tweeting, and talking about our petition to DART. If you'd like to go the extra mile, you can write a personal email to a DART Board Member with a link to this petition.

Another powerful way to help our campaign is to attend a DART Board Meeting and make a public comment in support of Free DART For K-12 Students.  The next board meeting is August 23rd, 6:00 pm at 1401 Pacific Ave. (Akard Station)
