Allow Ryan Reynolds to Run for U.S. Presidency Despite Canadian Birth

The Issue

As the one who is writing this, I remember a promise shared with me in my childhood - a bold assertion that in America, anyone could be anything they wished. My wish now is to see Ryan Reynolds, a remarkable figure of our time, take his place in the White House. Though born in Canada, his transformative work ethic, unwavering dedication to society, and charismatic personality reflects the ideal essence of an American leader.

Ryan Reynolds is not a mere actor; he is a philanthropist and entrepreneur who uses his influence for positive changes. He is a beacon of hope for gingers worldwide who has consistently shown his affinity towards the American people through various charitable work.

Despite the requirement stated in Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution, which stipulates that only natural-born U.S. citizens can serve as president, we believe it's time for change. Immigrants have contributed greatly to the growth and prosperity of the United States throughout its history. As of 2016, 13.5% of the U.S. population was born abroad (U.S. Census Bureau, 2016), and they have always played a crucial role in shaping the nation.

The time has come to reconsider the rigid perspectives on presidential qualifications and adapt to a more global vision. If the American Dream promises that we can be anything we desire, why should we prevent capable, dedicated individuals like Ryan Reynolds from assuming the presidency? It's high time that we extend the scope of this statement to its fullest sense and adapt to an increasingly connected world.

Let's rally together to change outdated rules and welcome the incredible potential and diversity the world has to offer. Let us allow Ryan Reynolds, and others born outside of the US(NOT ELON MUSK THOUGH), the chance to lead our great nation.

Sign the petition, and take a stand for change.
