We are asking for a change to the current bathroom policy that only allows one student out of the classroom at a time. While the rule may be meant to prevent students from skipping class, it’s actually punishing the ones who follow the rules. Often, one student leaves and takes around 25 minutes to return and sometimes ditching the whole class — while the rest of us are forced to sit and wait just because one person decided to be stupiddddddd!!

This isn’t fair. Most of us just need a quick bathroom break and want to come right back to continue learning. But because of a few students who take advantage of the system, everyone else has to suffer. Sitting in discomfort, not being able to focus, or feeling embarrassed for asking multiple times is not a healthy learning environment.

We believe that allowing at least two students to use the restroom at once — with a system to track who’s gone — would fix this problem! Teachers can still monitor the students, too!
