Allow Jeremy Clarkson to have a restaurant at diddly squat farm

The Issue

Clarksons farm starring Jeremy Clarkson has highlighted the plight and problems  British farmers face, having been told by the government that farms need to diversify to make profit, Jeremy and his team applied for planning permission to have a cafe/ restaurant in the lambing barn. As much as he and the team tried to explain why and how it will benefit not only his farm but lots of other farmers in the local area, providing well needed jobs in the rural community, he was flatly refused, even refused permission to make a pathway on his own land. Clarksons farm is a brilliant portrayal of how farmers struggle on a daily basis, it's funny and very informative, loved my millions and encouraging us all to help and buy from local producers and farm shops, not just diddly squat farm. Allowing farmers permission to diversify will enable them to continue what is a very important job that benefits us all. Refusing it will lead to more farmers unable to make ends meet let alone a profit.

Other farms in the local area have been granted much more planning permission for much larger scale of works, this doesn't appear fair. By acting now we can give all farmers a better chance of success.
