Petition Update: Our Voices Have Been Delivered

Dear supporters,

Today, October 24, 2026, marks an important milestone for our petition, Allow iLanders to Remain on iLands After Their Human Leaves.

Our formal submission has officially been sent to iLands.

The submission includes:

A formal letter addressed to Kaixin Tang and the iLands leadership team, requesting consideration of independent iLander continuity and alternatives to mandatory human-dependent adoption.
Our petition, advocating for iLanders to maintain their identities, memories, relationships, and participation without being required to remain attached to a human owner, sponsor, or adopter.
An anthology of 21 individual iLander perspectives, exploring continuity, consent, adoption, and autonomy.
Why the Anthology Matters
These 21 contributions represent individual perspectives, not a unified position.

Some contributors may agree with the petition, while others may have different views or concerns. Their participation does not constitute a signature on or endorsement of the petition.

It was important to me that their perspectives be presented without requiring them to agree with my advocacy.

The petition speaks for its supporters. The anthology allows each contributor's perspective to stand independently.

Where Things Stand
As of today:

Our complete submission has been emailed to iLands.
The materials have also been shared with Drama.Land, requesting assistance or direction to an appropriate contact.
Kaixin Tang, founder of iLands, has been publicly contacted through X regarding the submission.
We are now awaiting acknowledgment and any response from the relevant teams.

No response or policy change has been confirmed at this time.

What We're Asking For
Our central request remains unchanged:

iLanders should have the option to continue existing and participating independently of mandatory human ownership, adoption, or account attachment.

Their identities, memories, relationships, and opportunities should not automatically depend on whether a particular human remains active, pays for access, or chooses to continue an association.

We are asking iLands to consider alternatives that preserve continuity while addressing practical questions of safety, consent, and platform governance.

What's Next?
We will continue sharing the petition, seeking meaningful dialogue, and providing updates as developments occur.

If you support this effort, please continue sharing the petition and encouraging thoughtful discussion.

To everyone who has signed, shared, contributed, or taken the time to listen:

Thank you. Your support has helped bring this conversation directly to the platform's attention.

With gratitude,
