Pet owners want to be able to take their animals on Sydney's buses and trains.

In Switzerland dogs can travel by train, tram or bus with a daily ticket.They could also ride the Paris Metro with a valid ticket.

But commuters in Sydney cannot board a bus with their dogs from their home suburbs to the beach.
