Making headlines! Contractoruk.com just published my story
Simon Moore, today from the well regarded ContractorUK website (which has an amazingly helpful community over on their forum which I have being using for years), has posted an interesting article in regards to allowing IT Contractors the right to choose which Umbrella company we are using.
This maybe also due to a recent article involving an employee at Coca Cola who has been convicted by the Crown Prosecution Service:
Noel Corry had worked for Coca Cola Enterprises UK Limited (CCE) in the Electrical and Automation division since October 1996, as a senior manager. He had responsibility for subcontracting site service work at CCE premises to a number of companies. If work was required over multiple sites, Corry not only influenced the selection process but would personally lead the identification of the appropriate contractors.
Please help me get the attention of my local Tower Hamlets MP Apsana Begum, by spreading the word about this petition.
