Coeliac disease is a condition where your immune system attacks your own tissues when you eat gluten. - People with Coeliac disease are eligible for government food vouchers as their food is notably more expensive than what one normally gets.

Food intolerance is difficulty digesting certain foods and having an unpleasant physical reaction to them. Some even experience excruciating pain and even have irreversible damage. Most have to find alternatives and avoid the food that they are intolerant to.  - People with tested Food Intolerances are currently not eligible for government food vouchers, even though some seek the same alternatives as people with Coeliac disease. 

Now, this isn't comparing Coeliac disease with Food Intolerance. However, both have similar issues when it comes to food product buying, and both have no choice in the matter of buying said products, otherwise face severe physical consequences. 

I would like to petition the government to change its policies regarding Food Intolerance. We are currently not eligible for government food vouchers, even though some of us seek the same alternatives as people with Coeliac disease.

I am petitioning that food intolerances should be added to the government's list of qualifying conditions for food vouchers, due to how similar they are to coeliac disease.

I would like to collect signatures and show them to the government so they know the impact that this change could have on a lot of people. 

We, the undersigned, support the petition for Food Intolerance to be recognized as an eligible condition for food vouchers.
