Currently, students at West Jr. High are not allowed to carry backpacks during the school day, which makes it difficult to transport books, supplies, and personal items efficiently. This policy can lead to lost time between classes, added physical strain, and unnecessary stress. Not to mention that West is one of the only schools to have this rule. 

We’ve started this petition asking the school administration to reconsider this rule and allow students to carry backpacks throughout the day. We believe this change would improve both convenience and overall student well-being.
