As a local business student from San Antonio, I see the need for more active recreational options in our city. It's not about discarding the charm of our river boat tours or existing recreational activities on the riverwalk (like guided kayak tours or fishing) but offering a more convenient and autonomous alternative that complements them. This vision led me to propose the operation of a man-less, app operated, convenient kayak and paddle board experience along the picturesque San Antonio River Walk. The addition of this service can create a balanced lifestyle for our locals and offer a unique thrill to our esteemed visitors. According to the Outdoor Industry Association, paddle sports have seen an increase in participation by 7.4% over the last three years, indicating a growing public interest in such activities. The kiosk will not only contribute to the wellness of the city's inhabitants but also stimulate our local economy.
