***ANNES LAW UPDATE***

Kevin Stewart has been announced as the Minister for Mental Wellbeing and Social Care and his specific responsibilities include delivering Annes Law.

This is a huge recognition of everyone in the Care Home Relatives Scotland Campaign Group and everyone who has supported the petition.

We know Annes Law doesn’t solve all the issues that have been brought to light throughout the pandemic but the least we can hope to guarantee is that those residing in care homes will never be completely shut off from family again if this is followed through.

We hope this gives us all a much needed boost.
