No-one is asking for a family reunion all we are asking is that one family member per resident be allowed to enter the are home to see their loved ones in a safe manner using the correct PPE.

Absolutely we need to keep our loved ones safe from Coronavirus but what is the long term knock on effect from lack of family visits -will they remember who we are?

If someone can tell me what is so different from ONE family member per resident being allowed in the care home compared to agency staff being used then I will leave it be.

How long can this go on for? I fear our care homes are being left behind again and are going to suffer so much.

16 weeks and counting since I saw mum, with no idea of when I will see her next...

I am at a loss and clutching at straws in a bid that a pettition may bring to light that yes we are keeping our loved ones safe from Covid but we need to allow them to be a part of society and be included in seeing families the same as everyone else.

One nominated family memeber allowed in weekly is all we are asking.
