Friends, in support of bringing Daksh Sood to Canada to be with his family, our petition with 10,500 signatures was presented last week to the office of Immigration Minister Chris Alexander both in Ottawa and Ajax-Pickering. We now await his response. In the meantime, another urgent issue has arisen that requires your support. A Canadian woman faces 33 years in prison for saving her children from an abusive father. She will hear any day now whether she is forced to go back to the United States and a potential trial and jail.
