Our petition aims to change the justice against police violence which is particularly important in USA and against black people. We want to get a better justice for the victims of police brutality. We also would like that the convictions become faster and more impactful. We think that the police’s role is to protect people but not be violent with them. It is a truth issue which has a big impact on our society because it leads a conflict between the population and the police officers so there is no more trust between them. We finally think that it isn’t normal that police officers who are brutal with black citizens are currently free and aren’t judged like others. Actually, blacks people have 2.5 times more chances to be killed by the police than whites. According to a study by The New York Times, black teenagers received more than 5000 insults about their skin’s colour in two weeks only. Do you think it’s normal in 2020! Moreover, since 2015, 1271 African Americans died by the police! It’s inacceptable. I think that others have to support us and sign our petition because it affects all of us, everyone knows today a black person so conceive that tomorrow, this person who is respectful and a good citizen die only because of his skin’s colour. We are in 2020 and police brutality against blacks must totally disappear.
