I read from local news that despite suffering  about S$500,000 losses each month since Mar 2020, the boss of Teo Heng KTV is doing his best to keep all staffs & even pay them full salaries (unlike some companies that will cut head counts or salaries to keep their reserve).

Teo Heng KTV has been around since 1989, they do not serve alcohol & has been an affordable, family-friendly KTV that allows patrons to bring own food or purchase their beverages at low price.

Their doors, unfortunately, have remained shut since Singapore government's announcement that all bars and entertainment outlets are to be closed.

Besides being a good boss that weighs staff & customers more important than monies, I read that Mr Teo Heng is also one of the kind souls that has been supporting Sian Chay Medical Institution in raising fund to finance the elderly & needy’s medical expenses.

Such a kind soul deserves not only respect but support from us to emerge stronger after this pandemic! I will sure patronise their outlets as soon as the restriction is lifted!

In fact, if cinemas are already in operation... could the government consider letting Teo Heng KTV to resume operations?  It is a family friendly KTV & school holidays are coming soon but travelling is still not possible... Why not give the people one more option to spend quality time with their family?

Safety measures such as NRIC proof as family to be in place, bring own microphone/clean microphone & room after each session & restrict operating hours can be implemented.
